Improved access to drug and alcohol programs and
services
Drug and alcohol services can provide
both prevention and care services. There is a perceived
gap in drug and alcohol services, particularly in
rural areas (early identification; recognition;
services to assist)
The network should include drug
and alcohol service providers to develop relevant
services and resources for the farm sector, and
to ensure that treatment services are accessible
and effective.
